Lian Heng (traditional Chinese: 連橫; simplified Chinese: 连横; pinyin: Lián Héng), (1878–1936) also written Lien Heng, was a Chinese historian, author and poet. He is most famous for having written the General History of Taiwan (臺灣通史), widely considered the first history of the island.
